High-purity nickel material
The purity of high-purity nickel material is usually ≥99.95%, which
greatly reduces the introduction of impurity elements and avoids
electrolyte and plating contamination.
The material is usually electrolytic nickel or ultra-high purity
nickel, which is purified by vacuum smelting or electron beam
melting.
Chemical stability
Nickel has excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance,
especially in strong acid and alkali environments.
Excellent conductivity
Nickel basket transfers current to nickel particles or nickel

Graphite crucible is a container made of high-purity graphite or graphite and
refractory materials (such as clay, silicon carbide, etc.), which
is specially used for melting and heating metals or chemical
reagents under high temperature conditions. Its main features are
high temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and
strong thermal stability.
Materials of graphite crucible
Natural graphite
Provides excellent thermal conductivity and high temperature
resistance.
Graphite crystal structure gives it low expansion coefficient and
high strength.
Clay or silicon carbide (composite crucible)
Enhance mechanical strength and thermal shock resistance.

Additives (adjusted according to use)
Antioxidants or metal compounds are added to some graphite
crucibles to extend service life.
Features of graphite crucible
High temperature resistance

Precautions for use:
Preheating
When using for the first time or not in use for a long time, the
temperature should be gradually increased (about 200°C/h) to avoid
cracking of the crucible due to thermal shock.
Avoid oxidation
Use in a reducing or neutral atmosphere at high temperature to
reduce oxidation loss.
Clean impurities
Clean up the residue in time after use to avoid corrosion of the
crucible by molten metal or chemical residues.
Avoid mechanical shock
Handle carefully during use to avoid bumps or collisions.
Maintenance method:
Check the crucible surface regularly for cracks or wear, and
replace it in time if any problems are found.
Avoid humid environment during storage to prevent graphite from
absorbing moisture.
